we heart chick-fil-a
it's no secret....we love chick-fil-a. hands down our first choice for a quick lunch or dinner. and yeah for us- it's family night every tuesday. which means free food and activities for noah and some down time for mommy!! their play area is always clean, they have table toppers for the kiddos, worth while activities for the kids meals, they refill your drinks and bring them back to you....the list goes on and on. zoe and i and the babies have spent many a wednesday afternoons there all afternoon! this week they had the easter bunny there and noah was all over him {or her??}. much to my surprise. the little man won't look at santa, let alone entertain the idea of standing in close proximity to him, so i was a little shocked. maybe it was because his girlfriend maggie wasn't afraid. that's little maggs there devouring her ice cream cone, and her big brother zach. not pictured with the bunny though were the three little babies also enjoying our evening at chick-fil-a. ainsley, caroline and luke enjoyed some chatting from their high chairs amongst themselves.

7 months
so here you are at 7 months. and you are just a happy little camper. you love, love, love your big brother except when he gives you "really big hugs" cause you usually get squeezed pretty hard. he's learning though. we're still working on the food thing, but that's ok. you seem to be gaining well none the less- and you have the cheekers to prove it! you are a little snuggler, which is opposite your big brother. and at night we sing 'you are my sunshine' and once round 2 starts you are out. and sometimes if i sing it to you during the day, you fall asleep on my chest. my most favorite time. you are such a sweet baby girl, and we are thankful every day to have you in our lives. we love you oh so very much!

half of a half {and that's progress folks}
we're making progress little lady.....you ate half a jar of sweet potatoes, which is more than you ever have, and i think half of that half actually went into your tummy. the other half was smeared on your face, bib, hands, etc. we'll take it though. it's a start. again. for the 3rd time. as you have refused all but breastmilk.

and we finished it off with some good clean fun in the tubby. it's literally a matter of days before you outgrow this tub. and let's face it- you may have outgrown it yesterday.... but i'm holdin' on. only you, your ducky (which you are destroying), mommy and the camera.
it was a good night.

snuggles from my friend caroline {and my brother attends his first date}
this is me and caroline again.....and my mommy, her mommy, rachel and krysta spent a few minutes taking these sweet pics of us while we were at crown center a few weeks ago. we are just a few months a part in age and we are going to have so much fun growing up together. however......
......while mommy was taking these pictures, noah and caroline's sister, maggie, took themselves on a romantic little date to einstein bros for a bagel and then headed to fritz's {the train restaurant} to eat it. and they didn't tell mommy. and she was really worried. that's right. those two little people escaped from the play area- mind you they had to walk right by us to get there- and headed to the train restaurant. while i frantically ran around the play area looking for him krysta went towards fritz's to see if they went that way. sure enough- there they were. those little stinkers. and eating bagels none the less. i'm still not sure how those came to play. did they go to einstein and order them? it's kind-of a tall counter. and who paid- noah or maggie? hopefully noah- that would have been the gentleman thing to do. rachel was a little surprised to see maggie come walking back with them since she was unaware that maggie was even on a date..... next time noah better ask first if he wants to take her out again. although, maggs did escape a second time that day so perhaps it was maggie that took noah out? thanks krysta for finding my child.....we will love you forever!

photoshop, anyone???
i have lots of updating to do.....i'm workin on it. this is a verbal, gentle reminder to myself that if i would spend less time blog-stalking others and update mine i'd be much more productive..... on the flip side- do any of the few of you who read this know much about photoshop?? i am desperately trying to edit some pics of the kiddos- and i can't navigate it to save my life. so- help please?? i know i can do a lot with it but i just don't know where to start. and i can't find a "photoshop for dummies" book either.

sunny day!
finally there has been some nice weather that we can get out in! just past christmas and new year's i am more than ready to get outside- and finally we can. noah is such a happier camper when he gets outside and runs off some of that crazy energy....it really is best for everyone! and the little snuggle bug is i think big enough to sit next to her big brother in the stroller. we'll see how long it takes before the grabbing at each other starts.....

supper with the trains
if you're going to go to crown center, then you have to go to fritz's for dinner. noah's favorite place to eat- no doubt about that. you order your food over the phone, and about 10 minutes later- a train drops it above your table and then the shelf comes down. truly an exciting dinner. to a 2-year old anyway.

follow the yellow brick road
we visited crown center a few weeks ago with the extended henry family and had a blast. the exhibit right now is 'the wizard of oz'. if you know our family well- you know that grandpa h. has somewhat of an obsession with the land of oz- so this one was really fun for us.

running laps on the yellow brick road
visiting with the wizard
escaping in the hot air balloon
meeting the stars of the movie
all was well until noah wandered in here by himself and found these giant monkeys 'flying' above
and after the monkeys came this display.... you can imagine how this one went over!
we re-grouped though and snapped this quick shot with all the kiddos- minus ainsley- who i think was still hanging out in the sling.

green beans anyone?
well....you don't like cereal. no matter what kind of liquid i mix it with. and you don't like sweet potatoes. and you don't like carrots. know what you do like? green beans! the one food your brother wouldn't touch... go figure. we're going to try those other foods again though little lady....and here's hoping you don't end up as picky as your brother. nana says part of it's genetic. i'm still trying to figure out who to thank for that.....
