this little man never ceases to make me laugh. every day- all day long- i laugh. he laughs with me and then i laugh harder. with an exceptional amount of energy today he sported my shades all afternoon. and ran. and ran. and ran. all day long. he's lookin' pretty sharp these days.

we're having a great weekend with grandma and grandpa. lots of stories, play time, train time, snuggles and treats. we love when grandmas and grandpas visit us. and we're extra lucky since grandma is going to stay for the whole week!! lucky mommy and lucky kiddos.

a day at the spa {or a tubby in the kitchen sink}

this girlie loves her a good tubby. how's that for proper english? once you clear up those pesky ear infections she is quite a happy camper. doesn't cry about anything. even when she's hungry. she just snuggles up to me and smiles. she's wisin' up to her big brother too. when he's too close and in her face (as he often is) she just grabs a handful of that fluffy hair of his and pulls real tight. he hasn't learned yet. maybe someday.

almost there {plus some fun in the snow}

we finally got some snow here.... make that snow you can play in. it is either too cold when it snows here- or warm enough that by the time you get out there it's all slushy and dirty. so lucky for us it snowed on friday and as soon as daddy got home you headed outside for some fun. daddy picked up that snow tube at the store awhile ago in hopes of using it this winter. and you had fun for awhile. make that about 8 minutes. which is equal to the amount of time it took to get you ready for the snow. none the less- it was fun watching you play in the snow for the first time. here's hoping we get another chance yet this winter. if it's gonna be cold- we might as well be able to do something in it right???

christmas..... part 3

we headed to grandma and grandpa's the weekend after christmas to celebrate there and we had a fabulous time. the pictures are in reverse order- but it takes me FOREVER to rearrange them so i didn't. (anyone with any suggestions on how to do it faster??) anyway, we got to hang out with gigi, our cousins and lots of family who hadn't yet met ains so that was great. noah and colton lightly practiced the art of sharing so that was fun. turns out we sparked quite a train interest for colton which now has bets waking up about 3 a.m. to play trains. (don't thank me now bets :) however, that's not helping us get any closer to a playmate for ains so we'll hope he starts sleeping soon! enjoy this next round- and just so you know (and by 'you' i mean the few avid readers we have.....) i am taking the 365 challenge and taking a picture a day for 2009 and putting it into this awesome album that i think will be fun to look back at. hopefully it will help me get to know my camera a little better and maybe start taking some pics for folks in the area. we'll see. anyone want to be my guinea pig??

just wanted everyone to see how big my pants are. for both the kiddos- shirt- SUPER tight, pants- SUPER long. thanks baby gap. pretty sure they will both be wearing the pants next year- i'll just need to find new shirts. i think i'll see what auntie lisa can put together for me.....
