chatterbox.

noah has a new favorite way to keep in touch. and when you talk to him you can expect to hear about all things going on RigHt NOW.......including {but not limited to} what he's wearing-- and don't be surprised if he if gets upset that you can't SEE the spot on his shirt, what he's going to do next and he'll likely ask you what kind of snacks you have at your house. he's definitely going to need to know if you have trains, and if so, which ones might you have and do they have tenders. if you don't know about this, no worries, my little train lover can school you. i'm guessing he will ask you when can he come to your house, and when he's there, can he have chicken, please? he'll wrap it up pretty abruptly, usually tossing the phone my way, running away shouting "bye bye, lub you......"

so, considering this little chatterbox didn't talk until way after his 2nd birthday, i'd say we've made up for lost time. without a doubt.

princess for a day.

even with the mess on her face thanks to that awesome sidewalk incident, ains still looked pretty sweet in her princess attire. auntie lisa invited us to see the play and get a crown with lots of other princesses. it was a fun morning and she even managed to sit through the whole play. slept through the first act, woke up in time to cruise the stage to get her crown, and then enjoyed some popcorn through the second act.

not such a fan of the crowning process, and wanted nothing to do with it at the beginning.

and ironically after she had the crown, she proceeded to march across the stage all by her self- not once, but twice! go figure!

with cinderella {jr.} who was in auntie lisa's class last year.

and cinderella {sr.} rachel, who we know too! ains though, apparently does not recognize her.

and here are a few more from said incident below. i was set on doing her pictures last night, so i thought i better make the best of present situation. she looked like a rough little princess today at the cinderella play, like maybe another princess beat her up, but she rocked her tutu anyway. here's hoping this heals fast cause i've got some spring pics to get to taking!!

the sidewalk won.

ains and the chip in the sidewalk in front of our house have battled more than once. today, she lost. and she lost bad. following a complete header off the front of her bike we cancelled our photo shoot trip to the park and instead opted for popsicles and washcloths to soothe our injuries. yep, auntie lisa is going to be super excited to see this when she comes to our house tomorrow morning for 'cinderella day' and she finds her poor cinderella all beat up. we'll let her know she can take it up with the sidewalk. i will say the popsicle following the incident was a huge hit- and i'm thankful for it's cold, de-swelling properties!!!

blowing bubbles.

blowing bubbles is hard work. especially if you want the really big ones. noah gave it his all though......that's for sure. we are more than excited that the warmer weather has made its way to us. more.than.excited. there's something about being outside that makes messes less messy, burns an amazing amount of energy, brings on extra happy kiddos and just makes for some good fun. as evidenced below.
