2 nights and counting.....

well, we are on night 2 of sleeping in our "big boy bed"- and i am happy to report that there has been less tears than i initially expected. and those i didn't expect are my own. he looks so little again- even though it is just a toddler bed- i feel like he's small all over again. since it's been going fairly well i am starting to feel less guilty about moving him too, so that helps. i wish i could take a picture of him in there- but i'm pretty sure aaron might kill me. he sneaks a few toys in there with him each night but if that helps him i am all for it! tonight his toys of choice that he has tucked tightly under his arm are his pooh boat, a book, his water sippy and of course- his little monkey that he sleeps with every night. and he holds on tight to them let me tell you. we've been putting him down around the same time knowing he "play"a little bit- but he's still been asleep by about 8 or so. here's hoping that it keeps going this well. baby girl's bedding is washed up and i've got some of the clothes clean, and i moved the crib mattress back up. now it looks like a totally different room. so- i guess now we wait some more. this is where my lack of patience comes in to play. most people do these things a few weeks before the baby comes- i opted for 6 whole weeks before she gets here. i suppose she could be early though..... but not likely. i think i'll be using my extra time now to spend some time with noah and maybe even relax a little in there. so- wish us luck with the big boy bed transition!
