don't say i didn't warn you. there are a lot o' pics! grandma and grandpa h. visited us for the whole weekend and we headed up to see the big train on saturday. did you know noah likes trains? i just thought i would remind you, in case you forgot. i know we sometimes do {or not ever!}. anyway, it was a fun day and we had a tired little boy after. all in all i think he enjoyed it, but may have been a bit overwhelmed with all the thomas "to-do's" that were there. i mean story time, movie time, train tables, thomas tats, bounce house and a small petting farm is a lot for a 2-year old to take in! so we started by watching the big train come in to the station. mistake #1- do not watch thomas when you are not going to immediately get on for your turn. this does not make a 2 year old happy.....the concept of time- not quite there.

mistake #2- do not tell your 2 year old that the train will go "fast like gordon"....also not happy about that. {for the record- i may have been able to push the train faster.....could have used a little breeze}
this little champ however thought it was buckets of fun!
ultimately where he ended up for much of the ride: with grandpa
the end. ride is all over. for weeks now every time we pass a train- "momma, i go ride on THAT train, yes, o.k.?"
the best group shot i have- noah- not so into it. mistake #3- should have taken this one earlier'sir topham hatt'. my sincerest apologies to the director of the railway
meeting sir top-m-hat {may have to look that one up} this is a huge improvement from last year. wouldn't even look at the gentleman. he's very non-threatening, right?
watching the trains with grandma

all in all a great time was had by everyone- and really- he still talks about it so all those mistakes must not have been too traumatizing!
