project 365 catch-up

5.365-
this is what i have spent the last 4 weeks doing for that little cutie in the background.... attempting to find a bottle that she will take. my poor husband and mom are stuck with a crabby baby anytime i am at work since she REFUSES to take a bottle. i am open to any suggestions at this point. anyone????

happy new year to you and yours. here's our family wishing you the best in 2009!!

christmas..... part 3

we headed to grandma and grandpa's the weekend after christmas to celebrate there and we had a fabulous time. the pictures are in reverse order- but it takes me FOREVER to rearrange them so i didn't. (anyone with any suggestions on how to do it faster??) anyway, we got to hang out with gigi, our cousins and lots of family who hadn't yet met ains so that was great. noah and colton lightly practiced the art of sharing so that was fun. turns out we sparked quite a train interest for colton which now has bets waking up about 3 a.m. to play trains. (don't thank me now bets :) however, that's not helping us get any closer to a playmate for ains so we'll hope he starts sleeping soon! enjoy this next round- and just so you know (and by 'you' i mean the few avid readers we have.....) i am taking the 365 challenge and taking a picture a day for 2009 and putting it into this awesome album that i think will be fun to look back at. hopefully it will help me get to know my camera a little better and maybe start taking some pics for folks in the area. we'll see. anyone want to be my guinea pig??

noah and gigi sharing cookies
the infamous 'side smile' that was taught to noah over the weekend. no worries- i have the best 'side smile' pic for day 3 of project 365.
colton looks good with a baby sister- don't you think??
(read here bets: he needs one :) )the great grandkids with gigi and bets
3 generations- and the CHEESEIEST smile i have ever seen on my little man's face! (seriously- click on the pic to make it bigger and you'll see- it is hilarious!)
gigi and ains
yes mom.... i am basically naked and i like it that way. let me play with my trains in peace please. you should know that he refers to his diapers as his 'elmo underwear'. here's hoping he doesn't really think those are undies....

christmas.... part 2

how noah wears the tutu

trying to get ains to pay attention to me..... i am a funny guy and i think she'd see that if she would just look at me

stocking goodies christmas morning at nana and papa's

learning from auntie lisa- she was teaching me something about how to wear my tutu

sissy shares all her toys with me. this is her new cabbage patch (who came with the name 'noreen' what?? who names these things anyway?? i mean it's a nice name and all.....)

just wanted everyone to see how big my pants are. for both the kiddos- shirt- SUPER tight, pants- SUPER long. thanks baby gap. pretty sure they will both be wearing the pants next year- i'll just need to find new shirts. i think i'll see what auntie lisa can put together for me.....
just hanging out with daddy
my new train table at nana and papa's house. how cool is this- i have a kitchen at the train station??

side note..... i think that's all for this christmas celebration. we've got 2 more to do :)

christmas- part one (there are lots of pictures- sorry!)

we spent christmas eve with my mom and terry at their house. we had a lot of fun, and both the kiddos got lots of fun goodies and were spoiled as usual. auntie lisa made ains this sweet tu-tu that is so stinkin cute. you can bet this will be in her next round of pics. i can just see her chubby little bootie in it....mom's christmas tree
christmas tunes all ready to go
noah's place at the table. we have been eating off this setting since we were little. it's fun to have him get to use it now
little miss all ready for church
ruffles and snow boots- you know- for all that walking she does :)
ainsley's second favorite person (next to me of course!)
just wait until they have kids and their "family" pic will look like ours below....
as mentioned above- noah was totally cooperating for me. this was the one and only attempt
just because i can't have enough pics of this sweet girl
new thomas flashlight train from auntie lisa and uncle jeff
so excited to open (let's say he was none to excited to discover the three shirts inside from nana and papa. someday he'll learn to recognize "box shapes"- let's face it- we've all done it!)
she already looks so cute!
auntie lisa got a new pair of uggs and noah spent a good part of the evening trying to get the inserts to stay on his feet.
this is what our family picture really looks like.....
a's new tummy time play mat
noah "helping" her on her new mat

my best efforts have been tossed in regards to keeping that thumb out of the mouth.... i'm still working on it though.

white elephant par-tay

we had a white elephant party at my house with some girlies from work- and it was so hilarious what we came up with to exchange. it was a really fun night- and i am so, so lucky to get to work with such a great group. thanks ladies for the fun times! can't wait until next year. i imagine some of the "gifts" exchanged will show up again. except for suzanne's- i think she'll hold on to that one.
can you see the excitement on her face?
this little treasure was left behind at my house by sarah- and sarah- let me just say that he will be returned to you in a timely fashion when you least expect it..... just don't forget that he does in fact sing "i'm too sexy"
this little gift packed a big punch wrapped in epidural tubing and paper from our newborn picture table at work. it's misleading though- the gift contained some cookies and a panera gift card with a whopping 0.16 cents! that's what i ended up with.....
and lucky elizabeth got to keep this lovely pair of antlers.
